Devicescape Software provides innovative turnkey solutions for WLAN deployment. Joined as a Sr. QA engineer and got promoted to team lead, managed QA group in US and India.

  • Managed QA team for Wireless Infrastructure Platform (WIP).
  • Mentored new hires and remote team, and helped them ramp up.
  • Interact with customers and test the product onsite (Traveled to Japan NTT-DoCoMo, for product demo and train customers).
  • Evaluate and implemented test tools IWL (SNMP) and TAS (automation).
  • Migrated FogBugz to Bugzilla and customized Bugzilla.
  • Developed ATT (Activity Tracking Tool) and RAT (Reservation Activation Tool) using PHP and Java. These tools were used to schedule test and track different projects and releases and for inventory control.

  • Dev-test for GigE I/O: Work involves develop test plan, conduct review, define QA entrance criteria.
  • Interoperability, Bench Marking (RFC 2544 & 2432), performance, stress testing.
  • Testing OSPF & RIP, IP, TCP/UDP, ICMP, Multicast, VLAN (802.1Q) and ARP.
  • System testing with PPP, L2TP, Routing protocols and ACLs enabled.
  • Automation using Expect/TCL, Perl, IXIA and conduct code reviews.
  • Developed an interface for Perl scripts to call TCL libraries in IXIA. Seeing the benefits of this library it was adapted in automation frame work.
  • Received award of recognition for GigE Dev-test.
  • Received award of recognition for building a regression infrastructure.
